1. General Information
   

1.1

All our spits are gas-operated stainless steel units

1.2

We use infra-red gas burners to maximize cooking time and to ensure meat is cooked right through

1.3

With infra-red burners there is no open flame which guarantees no smoke

1.4

Thus we can do any function anywhere indoors & outdoors

1.5

Weddings, birthdays, celebrations, product-launches, team building events, year-end functions (You name it - we do it)

1.6

Spit has its own drip tray to ensure no mess

1.7

All the meat and starters get served from the spit to ensure food stays warm and gets served hot

1.8

We arrive 3 to 3 hours prior to the function

1.9 For any function further than 2 hours travel one way, we will charge for accommodation as well as a live out expense for the number of staff members that is coming to do your function.
   
2.  Intimate Functions (Less than 50 people)
   
2.1 We cater for groups 25 to 29 people and 30 to 35 people
2.2 Outside Durban area we cater for a minimum of 50 people
2.3 Our spits do not fit through a normal size door
2.4 No tables, table cloths or glasses are included
2.5 Any crockery, cutlery or equipment broken or lost at the function will be charged for and paid for on site. NO EQUIPMENT IS LEFT BEHIND
2.6 We cannot prepare the meat in the wind or rain and would need suitable cover
2.7 All bookings are subject to a transport fee. Transport charged on the distance from our offices to the venue and back
2.8 A minimum transport fee of R80 is charged
2.9 A 50% deposit is payable to confirm booking
2.10 Balance of payment in cash on the day of the function or 48 hours prior to function via EFT
2.11 Cancellation: If function is cancelled within 72 hours of the function, the deposit if forfeited
2.12 Children under 12 years pays 50% of the quoted price
   
3.  Large Functions (More than 50 people)
   

3.1

We cater for a minimum of 40 people for a full lamb on spit

3.2

Outside the Durban area we cater for a minimum of 50 people

3.3

Our spits do not fit through a normal size door

3.4

No tables, table cloths or glasses are included

3.5

Any crockery, cutlery or equipment broken or lost at the function will be charged for and paid for on site. NO EQUIPMENT IS LEFT BEHIND

3.6
